At Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare, known as SMASH, our mission is to keep musicians healthy. SMASH provides a safety net that allows our local musicians to focus their resources on other key living expenses, including their musical craft. In turn, our local musicians enrich our local culture, economy, and lives.

 

SMASH Provides:

• Comprehensive dental care, including acute and preventative care

• Mental health funding for a minimum of 12 sessions per year

• Hearing screening & protection including custom earplugs

• Vision exams and prescription glasses

• Vocal health care that includes exams, scoping, and follow up care

• Annual primary care doctor’s visit with associated lab work

• Substance Use Disorder treatment and harm reduction resources

• Health insurance and service navigation

SMASH is here to support musicians’ health. It is free to be a member. SMASH is not a health insurance provider, and if you have insurance, you can still qualify for SMASH services. SMASH serves musicians in King, Snohomish, Pierce, Mason, Kitsap, and Thurston counties.
