As a doctor, you already know how important your work is. A person cannot achieve their full potential if they are not healthy. Our goal is to help keep musicians healthy by providing them access to free and low-cost healthcare through a network of volunteer providers just like you. SMASH Provider Network Overview: • Most healthcare providers in the SMASH network agree to see a number of SMASH members annually based on availability. • Providers let member service know how many members can be seen per month and we manage/track member utilization to provider capacity. • SMASH providers offer a discount for their services because our member’s fall under the threshold to be considered low-income in King County. • We direct members to various providers depending on a clinic's location, availability, and specialty. • When a member is referred to you to make an appointment, they will let your team know they are a SMASH member at that time. • A SMASH Program Manager will then coordinate with the member and you, or your office, on billing and any necessary next steps after the initial exam. • Some providers prefer to run a day clinic instead of, or in conjunction with, annual patients. CURRENT NEEDS: MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR: SMASH is seeking a Membership Services Coordinator (volunteer) to qualify and enroll Seattle-area musicians for SMASH membership, connect members with preventive healthcare services and assist in addressing our members’ needs. EVENT PLANNER: SMASH is seeking an event planner to help us with fundraising events and our annual Benefit concert. OFFICE ADMINISTRATION: SMASH is seeking a an office administration volunteer who can help us with small projects, and support our Administrative & Operations Manager.
