SMASH SPRING DENTAL CLINIC FOR MUSICIANS

Our very first SMASH Member Dental Clinic in March was an absolute success!

SPRING DENTAL CLINIC FOR MUSICIANS BY THE NUMBERS:

🦷 Over $21,000 worth of dental work was completed!

🦷 29 members received a dental exam with x-rays & a cleaning.

🦷 4 members were fitted for a custom night guard.

🦷 7 members had additional dental concerns resolved at the clinic.

🦷 13 are scheduled for follow up care.

THANK YOU DENTISTS, HYGIENISTS, ASSISTANTS, & VOLUNTEERS!

This clinic would not have happened if it wasn’t for the amazing providers and volunteers, please join us in thanking Dr. Chris Rafoth, Mondie Peterson, Kalena Tadio, and Lorinda Sorci of Lyon’s Creek Dental, Dr. Kyle Beffa and Lindsey Popich of Beffa Dental, Dr. Brendan Lopez, our hygienists - Angie Wilson, Tazlyn Gue, Cortnery Irgens, and our support volunteers - Jena Rockwood, Adriana Gomez-Weston, and Carey Rayburn!

It is also not possible without supporters like you funding our work to provide free dental care for local musicians! So, THANK YOU! If you want to see more free health and wellness clinics for local musicians, consider becoming a monthly recurring donor.

As a nonprofit, we face the challenge of relying on external support to fulfill our mission. By becoming a recurring donor, you make it possible to plan, budget, and make decisions based on our available resources, ensuring that we can continue serving our musicians in a sustainable way.

With each recurring donation, SMASH is able to provide free and low-cost healthcare for local musicians, which brings us one step closer to our ultimate goal to keep musicians healthy. Building a foundation of health, allows musicians in our community to not just survive, but thrive. When you’re struggling with your mental health, a painful tooth, an injury, or untreated chronic health conditions, it's a struggle just to put one foot in front of the other, let alone create music, the music we cherish.
