HOWARD & MARGE BOUTIQUE LAUNCH NEW APPAREL LINE, "OLDE SEATTLE" BENEFITING SMASH

The new casual apparel line by Howard & Marge Boutique, Olde Seattle, is a love letter to the city’s iconic music history. But they aren’t just romanticizing the past; they’re also investing in the future of Seattle’s music scene by donating a portion of the proceeds to SMASH to help fund our mission to provide local musicians access to free and low-cost healthcare. The Olde Seattle collection features two hoodie styles, a short-sleeved T-shirt, and a hat screen-printed with a collage of old ticket stubs from icon Seattle shows of the past, including Pearl Jam, Mad Season, and more.

Howard & Marge Boutique's Founder, Robin Dunkle, married to Seattle musician Dusty Dunkle, has seen up close the challenges independent musicians face. Despite the music industry generating billions in the local economy, musicians see little return, earning far below the income needed to live in the city. Survey after survey, study after study, show that musicians struggle to make ends meet, and access to healthcare can be a significant hurdle. SMASH fills this gap, offering everything from dental care to mental health services, allowing musicians to focus on their craft without sacrificing their well-being.

By donating to SMASH, Howard & Marge Boutique is joining the fight to save Seattle’s music scene by helping care for the people upon whom our music industry is built, setting a powerful example of how businesses can give back to the communities that inspire them, creating a positive cycle of support and creativity. So whether you’re a Seattleite looking to celebrate your hometown or an admirer from afar, shopping the Olde Seattle line by Howard & Marge is a way to connect with the city’s rich cultural legacy and support the artists who keep it alive.
