Netflix Call for Music Submissions for Queer Eye Season 7

Netflix has called for music submissions for their next marketing campaign for Season 7 of Queer Eye.

Project Title: Queer Eye S7 Delivery Date: 1/25/2023 - 12PM PST

Series Synopsis: Queer Eye is back and ready to transform the stylistically challenged into hip and happening savants at the hands of the Fab 5. These fearless ambassadors of taste are about to embark on a journey through New Orleans.

LICENSING FEE: $10,000(US) all-in

BRIEF:

• Genre: New Orleans Bounce or NOLA-inspired pop (think percussive, highly rhythmic, call-and-response type lyrics, brass instruments, heavy bass, etc.)

• Song should appeal to a wide range of audiences

• Should be vibrant and celebratory; should sound like an explosion of fun

• Lyrics about self-care, self-love, personal growth, acceptance, bettering yourself, friends, accepting help from others.

• No sexually suggestive lyrics; should be more “family-friendly”/clean versions of songs

• Must receive instrumentals with any vocal tracks

• Must include metadata for song (including contact information)

Notes: Song must not have been licensed in the past 3 months; Netflix must have exclusive licensing rights 3 months from official release date (TBD); song must be available on the DSP's by TBD trailer release date
