"Seattle is well known for its vibrant music scene. But most people need to be made aware the musicians responsible for that reputation struggle to pay the bills, and many need primary healthcare. This is where a group called SMASH takes center stage. SMASH stands for Seattle Musicians' Access to Sustainable Healthcare. And since 2015, it has helped many artists navigate the health system and even get free medical services. In fact, one musician, who worked two jobs to make ends meet, is now a dentist himself and pays it forward by providing services to those in need. Brian Callanan has more."
