Timber! Outdoor Music Festival returns to Carnation, WA, July 27-29, 2023. This Northwest music festival is a weekend of fun, music, nature, and community.


Founded by Artist Home founder Kevin Sur in 2013, The TIMBER! Outdoor Music Festival is an annual summer multi-day music festival held at Tolt-Macdonald Park in Carnation, Washington.


But TIMBER! is more than an amazing music festival featuring national and local music; it is also a family-friendly experience that includes camping, outdoor adventures hosted by REI and other community partners, and more.

RUNNING WITH REI

REI is back to offer fun running adventures at Timber! 2023.


ON THE LOOKOUT FOR BATS

Join Bats Northwest for an evening all about bats! They will cover some bat basics, learn about our local species, discuss the cool behaviors and adaptations, and discuss what we can do to help our bats. They will head down to the river at sunset to observe some bats and participate in a simple and fun community science program - all about bats!


YOGA WITH REI

Take a moment to center yourself with a calming yoga practice by REI. Join REI, who will guide you through an experience of finding better overall health and wellness through yoga.


HIKING WITH MAPPY HOUR

Join Mappy Hour for 2 group hikes at Tolt-Macdonald Park during Timber! Outdoor Music Festival. Mappy Hour is a community of urban-dwelling outdoor enthusiasts who gather monthly around maps, guidebooks, beer, and adventure stories. They love to hike, and they love a good beer.


NATURE PAINTING

Make art in nature! Janine Chiorazzi is a local Seattle art teacher, performer & producer who loves to bring people together to celebrate arts & community. Hang out on Friday or Saturday morning and have fun making art outdoors. Janine will guide you through a lesson that will capture your senses and grow toward fulfilling your artistic goals.


BIKE RIDING WITH SWIFT INDUSTRIES

Join Seattle's own Swift Industries as we take you on bicycle adventures at Timber! Fest. Swift Industries is your go-to source for PNW bike packing gear and inspiration. Our team will lead you casually through some of the most beautiful farm roads and gravel paths the Snoqualmie Valley offers.


RECREATIONAL TREE CLIMBING

Remember how much fun it is to climb trees? Ascend into the canopy using equipment that will keep both climber and tree safe. Let life slow down, experience Tree Time.


STARGAZING

Join astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society, Boeing Employees Astronomical Society, and astrophysicists from the University of Washington for a star party!


CARNATION FARMER'S MARKET

Visit Carnation Farmers Market and experience a miniature version of their weekly local market! A selection of fresh, healthy food options will be available for purchase directly from our local farmers and producers. Enjoy free farmtastic games and activities from our very own CFM Power of Produce Kids Club.


CAMP TIMBER!

Come one, come all! Roll up your sleeves and let your creativity flow. We'll be crafting away with the kiddos. Join us at the red barn on Friday and Saturday mornings of for two special concerts for kids, arts, crafts, and games!

STORYTIME WITH BLUE KETTLE BOOKS

Blue Kettle Books, Seattle's whimsical bookstore-on-wheels, will offer scheduled children's storytime and a reading nook for all ages. Come inside our cozy bookmobile and browse their curated books, art prints, and notecards, travel games, and more!

HIKING

Beyond a 500-foot suspension footbridge over the Snoqualmie River are 12 miles of forested and riverside trails connecting to an extensive network of trails in the adjacent Ames Lake Forest. SWIMMING

Dip your toes in the water or catch some sun at Tolt River Beach. Beach access is located on the south end of the RV/General Festival camping area.
