The up-and-coming singer, rapper, and producer have released their latest single, "Dead Line Telephones," today. The track blends hip-hop, pop, and electronic music to create a unique and captivating sound that will turn heads and polarize hearts.

The song features a dynamic blend of melodic rap, pop-punk-style guitars, and electronic breaks. The chorus is powerful and lush, featuring stacked harmonies that will stick in your head long after the track ends. The electronic breaks, meanwhile, feature a thundering growl-synth, Odesza-esque acoustic percussion, and trap-style drums that will get your heart racing.

"Dead Line Telephones" is a song that delves into the darker side of growing up. The lyrics explore the pain of losing friendships due to diverging lifestyle choices throughout your 20s.

The artist said, "The hook's line 'feeling like I'm living in reverse' is about undoing all the friendships and relationships you’ve built, not because it’s malice or intentional, but it’s a side-effect of growing up and building a life you want to live."

Kellan will premiere the song's first live performance while headlining Barboza with a full band on Friday, June 9th, 2023, with supporting sets from Rap Ghost and That's Nokay.
